June 6, 2011 - Monday

Today was Phillip's first day back to work. He text 5 times and called once. He is such a proud daddy. He also took his brag book to work to show off the children. Sally brought us yummy dinner tonight.

Phillip and Corbin watched NASCAR today! Like father like son!

We are having a great time with the babies. Routines are being established. We are feeding every 2 hours during the days and every 3 hours at night. Our feeding times are 12 am, 3 am, 6 am, 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm, 7pm & 9pm. I pump every thirty minutes prior to feeding times. At night I pump more so we have "reserve" in the fridge when the babies get extra hungry during daytime feeding times. Kennedy & Corbin are currently eating 40 ml. Sometimes Kennedy is more hungry and eats another 30 ml. (30 ml = 1 oz). Phillip gets up at the midnight feeding and I am up with the 3 am feeding. Both babies are having really good wet and dirty diapers. In the evenings after 5 or 7pm feeding is there tummy time. This is when they are awake for a more extend time.

I am getting stronger and stronger day by day. I am doing alittle more house related things each day. Washing bottles & doing a little laundry. My mom is here to help us as well. She comes Sunday evening and leaves Friday afternoon/evening. She helps with nighttime feedings and during the day. I don't know how mom's of twins do it totally by themselves.

Rebekka loves to hold her brother and sister's hands. She gets burp clothes and whatever I might need when it is feeding time. She likes to watch them when they are in their swings as well during the daytime. She is an awesome big sister and has lots of love to give to them.
