Wow! We are having Twins!!

On October 26th was my second visit to the doctor at 6.6 weeks pregnant. My dad and stepmom went with me to see my first ultrasound and hear the heartbeat. When we were watching the screen the doctor asked, "We didn't help you become pregnant, you became pregnant on your own?" I told him that we got pregnant on our own. When looking at the screen he there is a twin. My stepmom caught on right away. She said, "What? Twins?" Then I caught on. I asked him if we are having twins and he said yes, there are two sacs with babies in each sac with 2 heartbeats. I couldn't believe my ears or eyes. Me, Having twins? Twins are way on up my family tree. That is sooo amazing!

Phillip was is Vegas and I was planning to see him on the weekend. My friends told me to wait to tell him face to face to see his reaction. Let me tell you...that was the longest 3 days of my life! I didn't talk to his family because I didn't want it to leak out that we were expecting twins.

I planned how I was going to tell him and when I saw him at the airport he was so excited that we were expecting. I was only 7 weeks pregnant at the time. As soon as we got in the vehical I gave him a bag of candy. I had Twix,2 Baby Ruth, 2 Sugar Daddy's, Reece's Peanut Butter Cups, Doublemint Gum, 2 Snickers and some more. He caught on right away after looking in the bag. He said, "We are having Twins? That is so freakin awesome."
